Who it applies to

People living in California or certain other states have the right to opt out of the sale or the sharing of their personal information. What “sale” and “sharing” mean is set by the law of each state.

How to request

To make the request:

2. Tell us that you want to opt out.
3. Give your name, plus the number or e-mail you reached us from, so we can locate your records.

There is no account to create and no fee.

Confirmation

When your message reaches us, we confirm it and carry out the request before the legal deadline. The only details we ask for are the ones needed to locate your records.

Authorized agents

Acting for someone else? An authorized agent can make this request for another person, as long as that person has given signed permission.

Global Privacy Control

Switching on Global Privacy Control, in a browser that offers it, is another way to opt out. Where applicable law calls for it, we read that signal as your request to opt out for that browser.

Non-discrimination

We will not charge you more or serve you any differently because you opted out.
