Request Service

Send the details of the damage with the form, or call if water is still coming in.

Damage Details and the Property

For water, smoke, soot or mold in a house, a rental unit or a small commercial space. Your name and phone number start the request; the property type, the kind of damage and when it began let the first conversation skip straight to what matters.

Request received. The details of the damage are with the crew now.

The request did not go through. Call (651) 219-7845 and tell the crew what happened.

The request goes to the crew with everything you filled in, so nobody has to ask you twice which room it was or when it started. Answers come by the contact method you picked.

Details That Help the First Call

  • The type of damage and where it came from: a pipe, an appliance, the roof, the foundation, a fire.
  • Whether water is still flowing, and whether the main valve is off.
  • Which rooms and floors are affected, including any ceiling below the leak.
  • When it started, or when someone first noticed it.
  • Any hazards: water near outlets or the panel, a gas smell, a sagging ceiling.
  • The best phone number to reach you at, and a second contact for a rental.

Sending Photos and Handling an Active Leak

Photos help with the first conversation and with your own insurance records. A water leak that is still running comes first, before any photos.

How do I send photos of the damage?

Email them to info@sewardrestoration.com with the property address in the subject line. A wide shot of each affected room, a closer one of the source if you can see it, and any stained ceilings or swollen trim are the most useful.

Phone photos are fine as they are. Send them after the request or the call, so they can be matched to it.

What should I do if water is still running?

Shut off the main water valve, or the valve on the fixture or appliance that is leaking. If water is near outlets, the panel or a light fixture, switch the power off at the panel only if you can reach it without standing in water; otherwise stay out of that area.

Then call (651) 219-7845 rather than waiting on the form. Move what you can off the wet floor, and keep people and pets away from sagging ceilings.
